The 2,300 sq. ft. Monk's Utility Building consists of meeting and working spaces, a laundry, bath house, and a large outdoor court, all unified under a single roof. The building is totally off the grid due to its photovoltaic and hot water panels, augmented by a technically advanced wood-fired boiler.
