Serving as consultants for schematic design, this project is one of the largest the firm has worked on to date. The apartment complex sits on a 3.55 acre lot in Dallas, TX and has a gross area of 583,000 square feet, including 371 apartment units, 596 parking spaces and multiple swimming pools. Providing a new façade design, JSW/D Architects was asked to draw inspiration from the mission-style design vernacular of Santa Barbara, CA. Exterior details such as domed towers, ceramic tile, wood decks and tile roof helped recall a Santa Barbara style.
